Hispaniola Beach is oceanfront, so many units look straight out over the Caribbean from their balconies, and residents step from the grounds onto a private beach rather than driving to one. Sosúa's restaurants, supermarkets and shops are close enough to walk to, which makes it easy to live here without relying on a car.
The community is gated, with professionally maintained landscaped grounds, a pool deck and jacuzzi, a picnic and BBQ area, and designated parking. Homes are condominiums, mostly two and three bedrooms, from mid-floor apartments up to top-floor penthouses. Buyers use them as full-time homes, winter escapes and vacation rentals.

What to look for
- View and floor: direct ocean views and penthouse units carry a clear premium. Compare like for like: floor, view, size in square metres and whether the unit has been renovated.
- HOA and what it covers: ask for the current monthly fee and the condominium's most recent statement, so you know what's included and whether any special assessments are planned.
- How it's titled: some units are owned through a company (SRL) that's included in the sale. That's common in the DR, but have your lawyer review the company's records as well as the title.
- Furnished or not: several units are sold fully furnished and move-in ready. Check exactly what's included in the price.
